An evening of Great Gigs In The Sky at Frameless London

Four immersive galleries powered by brain data exploring the impact of music on our minds.

What is happening in our minds when we listen to music? How are the signals we are hearing being translated into the thoughts and feelings that we experience so deeply when we listen to our favorite tracks, or completely new and unfamiliar ones?

This special limited-run show, developed over two years by the Brainstorms team and presented at Frameless, the largest immersive venue in the UK, aims to bring to life how our emotional and cognitive states ebb and flow over the course of a song, and to transform neural data into audiovisual narratives, each telling a different, uniquely human story.

Why do we put on our music, look up towards the sky and daydream? Perhaps to find meaning outside of the everyday, and to learn something about ourselves in the process.

Live brain data capture event

The Brainstorms team are excited to be able to bring the process that underpins the creation of the visual art in the galleries directly to the audience, in order that they can experience this for themselves.

In an exceptional opportunity, all visitors to Brainstorms will be able to observe first-hand the process by which all the art was created for the Brainstorms project.

VIP ticket holders will have their brain’s response to music from The Dark Side Of The Moon recorded and streamed directly into one of Frameless’ spectacular galleries, showing visitors how the music excites, relaxes and interests the individuals taking part, where they connect and how they differ.
